Since it was going to be my first work experience in the Social Services field, I was very excited and eager. When I came for the job interview, while filling out the job application form, I was struck by the happiness and positive energy of the guests in the common area of the institution. The guests were chatting over tea and simit in the common area and doing activities. I was warmly welcomed during the job interview. My first and second interviews went positively, and I was hired as a social worker. From my first working days, first weeks, first months, first years to now — I have been working at Nevia Oran Care Home since 2017 as a Social Worker and assistant responsible manager. I am proud of my profession and of working at Nevia Oran Care Home, and of being part of this team. Being a part of the family of the guests staying at our institution and their relatives and touching their lives is one of the foundations of our profession. We know that all the guests in this institution are the crown of our heads, a member of our families. We approach them with this perspective and support them in all their physical, mental, and social needs.
